DAYTON YOUTH COUNCIL
The Dayton Youth Council (DYC)
was established by the Dayton Commission on
Youth to create a means of expression and
leadership development for the city's youth ages
9-13 years old. Recognizing the importance of
including the youth voice in planning public
policy and other decision-making that directly
affects the lives of young people, the Council
empowered by the DYC serves to advise the Mayor
and City Commission, and other city departments
on a range of matters important to youth. The
Youth Council meets monthly. For more
information, contact 333-3644.
